Warranties

Our funeral home makes no representation or warranties about the protective value of certain caskets or
outer burial containers other than those made by the manufacturer. The only warranties, expressed or implied,
granted in connection with goods sold with this funeral service are the written warranties, if any, extended by the
manufacturers thereof. No other warranties and specifically, no warranties of merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose are extended by the seller.

Financial Policy

Payment in full is required 72 hours (3 days) prior to furnishing of any merchandise, ceremonies or disposition. We
accept cash, cashier’s check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and incontestable/assignable life insurance policies.
There will be a 7% processing fee on all life insurance policies added to the Cash Advance Section of your
Statement of Funeral Goods and Services selected. Any additional cash advance items selected after the
Statement of Funeral Goods and Services have been prepared and signed, will be billed to the contracting party,
and payment is expected within 30 days. Any outstanding invoices will incur an 18% charge each month it goes
unpaid. California Sales Tax (9%) will be added to the cost of merchandise purchased.
All information given to the caretaker at the time funeral arrangements are made must be correct vital information
prior to filing with the State of California. It is the contracting party’s responsibility to provide the counselor with the
correct information. If the information given is incorrect after the filing process has taken place, the death certificate
must be amended. This can take several weeks and you will be responsible for all additional charges incurred to
amend and order corrected copies of the death certificate.

Complete Funeral Packages

Olive Tree Mortuary offers several cost effective funeral packages that may be of interest to you in your time of
need. Our packages provide you with a wide range of selections, options and prices. There are packages that are
appropriate for either traditional burials or cremations, and each package is designed to provide all the necessary
components for a complete funeral. A detailed description of the mortuary services is included in the price list.
Please Note: No additions or subtractions are permitted with our packages; if you decide against one of these
complete funeral packages, you may select individual products and services.
