Anna Marie Casner, age 70, of Laguna Hills, California, passed away on September 01, 2024, at the Joyful Home board and care facility.

Anna Marie was born on September 02, 1953, in Des Moines, Iowa to the late Norman and Helen Young. She grew up in Saint Charles and attended Interstate 35 Community Schools. Anna Marie was known for her love of horses, antiques, cooking, and helping others.

She worked as a manager at Whylie Eye Care Center for 30 years.

Anna Marie is survived by her daughter, Crystal Casner-Cox and husband, Scott; son, Clayton Casner and wife, Cori; grandchildren, Evelyn French and Tyler Casner-Cox; brother Norman Young Jr.; sister Helen Erpelding; and is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Ernest Casner.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 3:30 – 6:30 pm CDT at the Winterset City Park in Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Animal Rescue League in Anna Marie’s memory.
