In Loving Memory of Camille Jaujauna Jackson

March 24, 1973 – October 8, 2021

Camille Jackson was born on March 24, 1973 at 9:35 PM in San Leandro, California to Regina Carmel Jackson and Harold Daniels who preceded her in death. 

Camille spent her early years in Oakland, Ca until her mother relocated to Compton, California. Camille was a funny, bright, and loving child who enjoyed playing jokes on her cousins.  After graduating from Jordan High School Camille went to Cosmetology School and became a hair stylist.  She later expanded her career to Fashion Stylist and Consultant specializing in Vintage Apparel.  She was a devoted mother, daughter and sister. 

Camille joined her parents and grandparents on October 8, 2021. She will live on in our memories as we celebrate her life and find comfort knowing she is wrapped in the loving arms of our ancestors.    

She is survived by her loving son Chase Hodge, brother Haleem Jamal Faquir (Angela Harris), sister Rajeeyah Muhammad, step-brother Khalif Davis; 10 aunts Roslyn Lewis, Rhonda Lewis, Renee Lewis (Taj-Uddin Muhammed), Raneen Lewis, Rajonna Saine (Musa), Portia Williams (Steven), Lajeanne Perry (Rodney), Jamilah Lewis, Ayesha Lewis and Najla Youngblood; uncles Jon-Jon Lewis (Erin), Rashaad Shabazz;  her great aunt Sharon Barlow, nieces Anaya Barnes, Surraiya Barnes, India Faquir, Samarra Rose Faquir; nephew Haleem Jamal Faquir Jr along with a host of cousins and friends
