With profound sadness we announce the passing of David, our loving husband, father, and friend to all whose lives he touched, on October 30, 2022. He ended his struggle with his fight with cancer peacefully in his sleep at his residence in Irvine, CA. Kimberly, his wife, and Jon, his son, were by his side after a day with family.
David was born in Topeka, KS on an airforce base on January 1st, 1955, the son of Joseph and Ressie Ward. He lived most of his early life in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, CA. He then moved to Fullerton, CA and attended Cal State Fullerton and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. After this he sat for the Enrolled Agents exam and was licensed to prepare income tax returns and assist people with tax problems. In 1997, he and his wife started their own Tax & Accounting practice which he worked at until last year when his retinal eye cancer had metastasized.
Outside of work David loved to attend Christian group gatherings and to study the Word of God, the Bible. In 2017 to 2019, he visited Germany to help refugees that were seeking to find the Lord Jesus Christ. Prai e the Lord that so many came to know Him in a living and dynamic way.1n addition, he loved watching sports, playing board games and spending time with family, including his son and grandsons.
David is survived by his wife, Kimberly, his son, Jonathan, his daughter-in-law, Carolyn and his two grandsons, Soterios and Benaiah.
