Ron Flaherty, 61, of Trabuco Canyon, passed away at home on September 7, 2023.

He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Patricia and Don Flaherty.

He spent his teen years between San Diego and Los Angeles. After graduating High School from Westside Academy in Los Angeles, he began his long career in the printing industry.

He settled in Orange County where he and his first wife Judy raised their son Brian. He loved being a dad and sharing his love of paintball and motorsports with Brian. He married Carol in 2000.

His favorite place in the house was the garage, where he could tinker with cars all day. He loved all things about cars and motorsports, especially SCCA Autocross racing with his wife Carol.

He is survived by his wife Carol Beach, son Brian (Karissa) Flaherty, mother and stepfather Patricia Flaherty and Frank Beale, brother Ken (Mawe) Flaherty, sisters Cathy Clark and Karen (Armen) Hovanessian, sisters-in-law Ellen (Charlie) Lancaster, Jill (Geoff) Phillips, Elaine (Mike) McCullough, nieces Melissa Clark, Cami Flaherty, Marina Phillips, and Madeline Phillips, nephews Spencer Hovanessian, Gavin Phillips, and Cooper McCullough, mother-in-law Sarah Beach, and stepbrother Mitch (Sheryl) Martin and their daughters.

He will be laid to rest at El Toro Memorial Park in Lake Forest on Sunday, September 24, at 11:00 a.m.
